Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 06/15/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: /n RN - ICU /n/n Job Details: /n • Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement patient care plans /n• Provide bedside nursing care and carry out medical orders /n• Delegate to and oversee Nurse Assistant, Patient Care Associate, OB Care Associate, Surgical Service Assistant, Nursing Clerk and Psychiatric Tech functions /n• Evaluate effectiveness of care plans and patient outcomes /n• Must be comfortable floating to Emergency Department and Step Down units /n• Work every other weekend schedule required /n• Minimum 2+ years of ICU experience required /n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS /n• Travel experience preferred /n• Neuro surgical experience preferred /n• Open heart experience preferred /n• Additional preferred certifications: TCAR, TNCC, CCRN, SCRN /n• Assume leadership role including delegation and coordination of nursing care tasks /n• Participate in patient conferences and discharge/transfer planning /n• Teach and mentor professional and ancillary personnel /n• Precept new employees and students /n• Function as team leader for patient placement and assignment delegation /n• Michigan nursing license required /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive intensive care unit providing advanced critical care services to patients requiring complex medical interventions.
