Commercial Interior Construction ManagerOur client is an established New York general contractor specializing in commercial interior construction - office, retail and institutional fit-outs across the city and the surrounding metro area. Project budgets run from roughly $1 million to $25 million. The firm has built its reputation on delivering occupied and fast-track interior work cleanly, on schedule and without drama.The RoleYou will own commercial interior projects end to end - the schedule, the budget, the subcontractors and the client relationship. Work runs from roughly $1 million to $25 million, much of it in occupied or phased space where sequencing matters as much as construction.What You Will DoOwn assigned commercial interior projects from buyout through closeout.Manage budgets, subcontracts, change orders, requisitions and the financial outcome of the job.Build and hold the project schedule, including phasing around occupied space.Run subcontractor buyout and coordination, and hold trades to scope and schedule.Manage submittals, RFIs and long-lead procurement.Serve as the primary point of contact for the owner, architect and building management.Coordinate building requirements, filings and inspections through completion and closeout.What We Are Looking ForSeven or more years managing commercial interior construction in New York.A record on fit-out work in the $1 million to $25 million range.Experience building in occupied or phased space, and coordinating with building management.Fluent in the commercial and contractual side - buyout, change orders and requisitions.Command of NYC filings, inspections and building requirements.Degree in construction management, engineering or a related field is preferred, not required.Compensation And Benefits$130,000 - $155,000, depending on experience. A full benefits package is offered, including medical coverage, a 401(k) with an employer match, paid time off, paid company holidays and an annual discretionary bonus.
