We provide accessible mental health services inclusive of family, friends and support networks. We are a specialist, multi-disciplinary and intensive care mental health service incorporating the lived and living experience of family peer specialists and youth peer workers. Our service is divided into two streams 0-11 and 12-26 years and includes specialist services in the areas of perinatal care, neurodevelopmental presentations, eating disorders and outreach support. What You’ll Be Doing As one of our mental health clinicians, you will provide clinical assessment and intervention, case-management and single session/brief therapy with children and young people experiencing emotional, behavioural and mental health difficulties and their families. Embedded into the role are responsibilities for the provision of discipline specific consultation and assessment to clients and clinical services internal and external to ICYAMHWS. What We Need From You Approved tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline and eligibility for membership with the appropriate professional body Registered Nurse Bachelor Degree in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing or equivalent OR Bachelor Degree in Nursing or equivalent plus an approved postgraduate qualification in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing. Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA. Occupational Therapist Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia via AHPRA to practice with the National Board. Speech Therapist Registration as a speech therapist with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA). Social Worker Eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Worker (AASW). Psychologist Current registration as a psychologist with Psychology Board of Australia (PBA) via AHPRA to practice with the board Endorsement as a clinical psychologist under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Victoria) Act 2009 or eligibility and willingness to participate in a registrar training program leading to endorsement.
