This program will offer students paid, hands-on experience in retail operations, equipping them with essential skills and insights for future careers in the industry.Duties and Responsibilities:Support the "Cavender's Culture" and drive our Mission, Vision, and ValuesLearn effective sales techniques, understand product knowledge, and assist customersStocking, visual merchandising, and analyzing sales dataHandle transactions, process returns, and engage with customers at final point-of-saleAssist with daily store opening and closing proceduresAssist with local store events and promotional campaignsQualifications and Requirements:Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in business, retail management, marketing, or related fieldExcellent oral and written communication skillsA great attitude and willingness to learn and ask questionsHigh integrity with the ability to represent Cavender's in a highly respectful and positive mannerHigh degree of confidentialityAbility to interpret documentsAbility to understand the meanings of words and effectively respondAbility to comprehend complex issues and communicatePreferred Skills:Possesses excellent problem solving, critical thinking, presentation and communication skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Action oriented with ability to prioritize and drive results.Ability to work individually on a project or within a team environment.Cavander's is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
