Accounts Payable Specialist

LHH recruitment is hiring for an Accounts Payable specialist with experience in operations across multiple business entities. Our client is seeking an experienced AP professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage large invoice volumes with accuracy, and has a strong understanding of ACH payment processing. Key Responsibilities

· Manage high-volume Accounts Payable operations for two affiliated companies.

· Process vendor invoices, verify coding, and ensure timely payment processing.

· Handle ACH payment processing and support the full AP cycle from invoice receipt through payment.

· Maintain vendor records and resolve invoice discrepancies.

· Reconcile AP accounts and assist with month-end accounting activities.

· Monitor payment schedules to ensure deadlines are met.

· Support all Accounts Payable functions outside of tax-related responsibilities.

· Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to address payment inquiries.

· Maintain accuracy and compliance in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

· 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume environment.

· Strong experience processing ACH payments.

· Ability to manage AP activities for multiple entities.

· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Strong reconciliation, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

· Experience with Great Plains (Microsoft Dynamics GP) is highly preferred.
