TERRITORY SALES MANAGER – INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENT

Location: Minneapolis/ST. Paul MN / North Midwest Territory
Base Salary: $70,000–$80,000
OTE: Approximately $120,000+
Commission: Uncapped
Travel: Approximately 3–4 Days per Month
Requirement: Must Live Within 40 Miles of Mineapolis/St Paul airport 

POSITION OVERVIEW

Our client is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to grow sales of industrial printing, labeling, packaging, and production equipment throughout the territory.

This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional with technical, industrial, manufacturing, or capital equipment sales experience who enjoys developing new business, managing customer relationships, and selling consultative solutions.

You’ll manage the full sales cycle while working directly with engineering, maintenance, production, and other manufacturing decision-makers.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Develop new business and grow existing accounts throughout the territory.
• Prospect manufacturers within food, beverage, packaging, and other industrial markets .
• Present and demonstrate capital equipment and production solutions.
• Conduct on-site product demonstrations and recommend solutions based on customer needs.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through proposal, negotiation, and close.
• Build long-term relationships with engineering, maintenance, production, and purchasing contacts.
• Prepare quotes, proposals, forecasts, and sales reports.
• Maintain customer and pipeline activity within the CRM.
• Attend trade shows, industry events, and customer presentations.
• Partner with internal technical and support teams to ensure successful project execution.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• 2+ years of technical sales, account management, or B2B client-facing experience.
• Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferred .
• Capital equipment, packaging machinery, printing systems, or industrial automation sales experience is highly desirable.
• Strong prospecting, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to independently manage a sales territory and pipeline.
• Comfortable working directly with technical and operational decision-makers.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Microsoft Office and CRM experience; Salesforce is a plus.
• Ability to travel approximately 3–4 days per month throughout St. Louis, Kansas City, Chicago, and surrounding markets.
• Must live within 40 miles of Minneapolis/St Paul and have space to store demo equipment.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• $70,000–$80,000 base salary.
