Ophthalmic Assistant (Scribe)

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient care, including exam preparation and minor procedures
- Operate and maintain ophthalmic equipment (visual field tests, OCT, slit lamp)
- Document physician findings and maintain accurate medical records
- Perform administrative duties and act as a liaison between physicians and patients
- Document quality measures and fulfill government mandates
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (college courses preferred)
- Medical terminology knowledge (preferred)
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication abilities
Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
