Vital Health is a growing behavioral health and primary care organization serving adults and children throughout Northwest Ohio. Our mission is to improve the lives of our patients, families, and community through compassionate, individualized care while changing the way people think about mental health and substance use treatment.
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for a creative and motivated marketing professional who enjoys digital marketing, social media strategy, community outreach, branding, and relationship building. The ideal candidate will have experience managing marketing campaigns, creating engaging content, coordinating outreach initiatives, and helping organizations grow through strong community presence and digital engagement.
This position plays an important role in supporting Vital Health's marketing strategy, brand development, and community partnerships across Northwest Ohio. The right candidate will thrive in a fast paced environment while balancing creativity, organization, communication, and marketing execution.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and grow social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other digital marketing channels
• Create, schedule, and monitor engaging social media content designed to increase brand awareness, patient engagement, and community reach
• Assist with development and execution of marketing campaigns, outreach strategies, and promotional initiatives
• Coordinate community outreach efforts and maintain professional relationships with schools, healthcare providers, referral sources, businesses, and community organizations
• Support branding efforts by ensuring consistent messaging, marketing design, and communication across all platforms
• Assist with content creation including graphics, flyers, brochures, newsletters, blogs, website updates, and promotional materials
• Coordinate podcast guest scheduling, outreach communication, promotions, and marketing support for Vital Health's Beyond the Label podcast
• Support community events, networking opportunities, workshops, and outreach activities that promote behavioral health awareness and healthcare services
• Collaborate with leadership and the marketing team to develop creative marketing ideas and strategies that support organizational growth
• Monitor marketing trends, social media analytics, digital engagement, and audience growth opportunities
• Assist with paid advertising campaigns, SEO strategies, website management, and digital media initiatives
• Maintain professional communication and timely follow up with community partners, vendors, and referral sources
Qualifications
• 2 to 5 years of professional experience in marketing, digital marketing, communications, branding, public relations, outreach, or social media management strongly preferred
• Experience in healthcare marketing, behavioral health, nonprofit organizations, or community outreach preferred
• Strong understanding of social media strategy, content marketing, branding, digital engagement, and online marketing trends
• Experience with social media management tools, marketing platforms, SEO, website updates, blogging, and paid advertising preferred
• Excellent written communication, organizational skills, creativity, and project management abilities
• Ability to manage multiple marketing projects and deadlines in a fast paced professional environment
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field preferred. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered
• Portfolio, social media examples, or previous marketing campaign work may be requested during the interview process
