Warehouse Lead

Location: Downingtown, PA

Job Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Warehouse Lead to join our team in Downingtown, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing orders, ensuring the smooth flow of materials through our facility.

The ideal candidate possesses meticulous attention to detail, exceptional communication skills, and a proven ability to lead by example. From unloading deliveries and staging orders to managing inventory and loading trucks, you will play a critical role in maintaining our high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

• Team Guidance: Lead, motivate, and coordinate team members to reach daily operational goals.

• Material Handling: Safely inspect and operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, stretch wrap machines, and hand trucks.

• Shipping & Receiving: Effectively handle all duties related to loading/unloading activities, sortation, palletizing, and banding/shrink-wrapping pallets to ensure skid integrity during transit.

• Facility Mobility: Move freely throughout all areas of the facility, including office, production, and warehouse environments.

• Systems Tracking: Utilize inventory management systems efficiently and accurately to track product movement.

• Record Keeping: Prepare, review, and maintain accurate records of materials received and/or shipped for quality and compliance.

• Data Interpretation: Interpret company documents, literature, and UPC/code information; apply basic mathematical concepts (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, counting, and weights/measures) to complete tasks.

• Food Safety Compliance: Inspect inbound and outbound shipments to ensure strict compliance with established food safety guidelines.

• Safety Protocols: Wear all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) including goggles, gloves, hairnets, and safety glasses.

• Housekeeping: Maintain a clean work environment by collecting and properly disposing of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping.

• Reliability: Report to work at scheduled times and proactively communicate any tardiness or absences to management.

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment.

• Certifications: Active OSHA Forklift Certification with demonstrated proficiency in industrial lift truck operations.

• Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively and work comfortably in a variety of temperatures.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English sufficiently to perform all job functions and hand off info between shifts.

• Tech Literacy: Basic knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace applications.

• Work Style: Excellent organization and time-management skills, a sharp attention to detail, and the ability to work independently without direct supervision.
