Job Title: HVAC Installer

Job Description

Install, replace, and upgrade residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless systems. Work with both gas-fired and electric HVAC equipment. Perform system start-ups, testing, and final inspections to ensure optimal performance. Read and interpret blueprints, system layouts, and manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Install, replace, and upgrade residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless systems.

• Work with both gas-fired and electric HVAC equipment.

• Perform system start-ups, testing, and final inspections to ensure optimal performance.

• Read and interpret blueprints, system layouts, and manufacturer specifications.

• Ensure installations meet local building codes, safety standards, and manufacturer requirements.

• Diagnose installation-related issues and make necessary corrections.

• Communicate professionally with homeowners to explain system operation and maintenance.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

• Accurately complete work orders, checklists, and required documentation.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of residential HVAC installation experience.

• Proven experience with gas and electric HVAC systems.

• Strong understanding of airflow, combustion, electrical wiring, and refrigerant principles.

• Ability to read wiring diagrams and mechanical schematics.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in attics, crawl spaces, and tight areas.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Sheet metal expertise.

• Proficiency in interpreting blueprints.

• Experience with ductwork installation.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $72000.00 - $87000.00/yr.
