Sr. QA Analyst

Overview Beacon Hill Technologies is seeking a highly technical Sr QA Analyst to join our Fortune 200 client. The Senior QA Engineer will design and execute comprehensive testing strategies across backend systems and integrations to ensure quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise applications. The role focuses on API testing, SQL-based data validation, batch processing, log analysis, and end-to-end quality assurance. Experience with AI-powered testing tools and methodologies and the ability to adapt QA practices to an AI-driven software development lifecycle are highly valued. Responsibilities Design and execute comprehensive testing strategies across functional, integration, regression, and automated testing efforts. Perform API testing, including validation of request/response data, integrations, and error handling. Validate backend data using SQL and perform data analysis to support defect identification and resolution. Conduct batch processing validation and log analysis to ensure end-to-end system quality. Leverage AI-enabled testing tools and methodologies to improve test coverage, efficiency, and defect detection. Collaborate with development and product teams to adapt QA practices to modern, AI-driven development environments. Ensure quality across backend systems and integrations through end-to-end testing and continuous improvement of testing processes. Required Skills 5+ years of experience as a QA Analyst Strong experience testing backend systems, APIs, and service-based architectures Hands-on expertise with API testing, including validation of request/response data, integrations, and error handling Proficiency in SQL for data validation, troubleshooting, and backend data analysis Experience performing batch processing, log analysis, and end-to-end system validation Demonstrated ability to leverage AI-enabled testing tools and methodologies to improve test coverage, efficiency, and defect detection Familiarity with AI-driven software development and testing lifecycles, with the ability to adapt quality assurance practices to modern development environments Ability to develop and execute comprehensive test strategies across functional, integration, regression, and automated testing efforts Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on identifying root causes and ensuring software quality Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience will also be considered Desired Skills Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline #J-18808-Ljbffr Beacon Hill
