You will be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, providing personalized care plans in an outpatient setting.Practice InfoPart of the Institute for Health & Healing (IHH) at Sutter Health in Santa Rosa, a pioneer in integrative health care.The Santa Rosa clinic serves a vibrant and health-conscious community in Sonoma County.Team-based model emphasizing collaboration, prevention, and personalized healing journeys.Integrative health team includes Integrative Medicine Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Chiropractor, Acupuncturist, Psychotherapist, and Massage Therapists.Outpatient setting; no inpatient or call responsibilities.Fully integrated EPIC EMR across both clinic and hospital settings.ResponsibilitiesProvide integrative physician consults.Coordinate treatment plans.Partner across disciplines to guide patients on their individual wellness journeys.Blend conventional and complementary therapies into personalized care plans.Serve as a physician consultant for patients referred by Sutter colleagues or community providers.Support continuity and quality of care through timely documentation in the electronic health record.Participate in community education, patient workshops, and wellness initiatives that advance whole-person health.Compensation$260,000 - $325,000 /Yr.BenefitsMedical Coverage: Begins on day one, with multiple plan options starting as low as $0–$50 per month; includes coverage for domestic partnersDental & Vision: 100% employer-paid coverageRetirement: 8% employer-funded profit-sharing contribution up to IRS maximums—no employee contribution requiredMalpractice Insurance: Tail coverage includingContinuing Medical Education: $6,000 annual CME allowanceRelocation assistance and access to professional development resourcesOpportunities for teaching, research, innovation, mentorship, leadership, and community engagementShift & ScheduleFull-time position, 0.8–1.0 FTE (flexible within that range)RequirementsMedical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited medical schoolCompletion of an accredited residency (family medicine, internal medicine, or specialty)Formal fellowship training (1–2 years) or certification in Integrative Medicine, Functional Medicine (IFM), or similar program (preferred)Experience incorporating complementary modalities such as acupuncture, nutrition, mind-body medicine, herbal medicine, mindfulness, or yoga therapy (preferred)Board Certification in Integrative Medicine through the American Board of Integrative Medicine (ABOIM) or completion of an approved fellowship (highly preferred)Demonstrated passion for whole-person care — mind, body, and spirit (preferred)Comfortable working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team (preferred)
