Battery Manufacturing Specialist – Electrode Coating

Pay: $30–35/hour

We are seeking a Battery Manufacturing Specialist with experience in Li-ion battery production and electrode slurry coating processes. This role will support electrode manufacturing operations, including coating, quality verification, and process execution in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor electrode slurry coating equipment (slot die coating preferred).
• Verify coating quality, loading, and process parameters.
• Support slurry preparation and mixing activities as needed.
• Follow standard operating procedures and maintain accurate production records.
• Work collaboratively to meet production and quality objectives.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with electrode slurry coating; slot die coating strongly preferred.
• Experience performing coating quality checks and loading verification.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Li-ion battery slurry mixing experience.
• Roll-to-roll or pilot-line manufacturing experience.
• Cleanroom manufacturing experience.
• Familiarity with battery cell assembly and related processes.

Schedule:

• Primarily 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
• Flexibility to work occasional extended shifts, including early starts (7:00 AM) or later finishes (up to 8:00 PM) 1–2 days per week.

Target Start Date: August 3, 2026.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Leandro, CA.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
