Project Manager – Commercial ConstructionAlbuquerque, New MexicoA highly respected Albuquerque area general contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its growing team. This company has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality construction projects while maintaining a collaborative, hands-on approach with clients, subcontractors, and field teams.The Project Manager will oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout and will be responsible for keeping work on schedule, on budget, and moving efficiently.ResponsibilitiesManage construction projects from award through completion and closeoutDevelop and maintain project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and cost controlsCoordinate closely with Superintendents, subcontractors, owners, architects, and engineersManage RFIs, submittals, change orders, contracts, purchase orders, and pay applicationsOversee subcontractor procurement, buyout, and scope coordinationMonitor project costs, schedule, quality, and overall performanceLead project meetings and maintain strong communication with all project stakeholdersIdentify project challenges early and develop practical solutionsReview plans, specifications, contracts, and project documentationMaintain accurate project reporting and documentationBuild and maintain strong client and subcontractor relationshipsPartner with field leadership to ensure successful project executionQualifications7+ years of construction experience with a General ContractorPrevious experience managing commercial construction projectsStrong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, scheduling, budgeting, and cost controlExperience managing subcontractors and multiple scopes of workAbility to manage projects from preconstruction through closeoutStrong organizational and communication skillsSolid problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesAbility to work effectively with both office and field teamsBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred, but equivalent experience will be consideredWhat This Opportunity OffersThis is an opportunity to join a stable and growing Albuquerque-based contractor with a strong pipeline of work and a team-oriented environment.
