Staff iOS Software Engineer
We're assisting a well-funded startup in the AI music-making space with their search for a Staff iOS Software Engineer. The role will work onsite in their Cambridge, MA, NYC, or LA office. What you'll do:
- Design and build the iOS app for creating, exploring, and listening to music
- Create foundational abstractions and libraries for performant, highly interactive audio experiences
- Contribute to design and product decisions across the app
- Optimize the performance, joy, beauty, and feel of our products
- Take ownership of a wide variety of technical and design decisions for the iOS app
What you'll bring:
- 7+ years of experience shipping production iOS apps
- Experience at a top-tier consumer-facing tech company
- Early stage startup experience
- Advanced expertise in Swift (SwiftUI + UIKit as necessary)
- Experience building fluid animations with an eye for translating prototypes into robust code
- An obsession with great user experiences, getting the details right, iterating & learning rapidly
Nice to haves:
- Experience dealing with millions of users
- A love of music (listening, exploring, making)
