Human Resources Specialist

West Shore Community College (WSCC) seeks an individual who is able to thrive in a role that requires careful attention to detail and the ability to manage sensitive information with full confidentiality.

WSCC in Scottville, MI, is an innovative and progressive institution of higher learning. It is located in a picturesque setting near Lake Michigan in a part of the state that offers year-round recreational activities. The College serves a multi-county district that includes Mason, Manistee, Lake and Oceana Counties. WSCC’s yearly student population (unduplicated) is approximately 1200.

The Human Resources Specialist performs professional-level human resources functions supporting recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance reporting, employee records management, Title IX investigations, and payroll support. Successful applicants will have a bachelor’s degree with demonstrated experience in human resources operations, records management or benefits administration, and have the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and hold strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Starting salary  at or above $51,693.
