## **Job Summary:**As a Physician in an affiliated medical practice, provides medical services to patients in an assigned area.## Job Description:Thayer Internal Medicine, a long-standing primary care practice within MaineGeneral Medical Center, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to join their highly respected team. This outpatient-only practice provides comprehensive care exclusively to adults, with a strong focus on geriatrics, population health, and the management of complex medical conditions.**About the Opportunity** This role offers the chance to practice high-quality primary care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. Physicians in this practice enjoy:* A full-time schedule consisting of 32 hours of direct patient care and 8 hours of administrative time each week* A patient population that values long-term relationships and continuity of care* Opportunities to incorporate procedural skills such as minor surgery or osteopathic manipulation (optional)* The ability to provide medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder, if desired* Participation in call rotation with other medical staff**About the Practice** Thayer Internal Medicine has been serving the Kennebec Valley region for more than 20 years and is located within the Thayer Center for Health in Waterville, Maine.
