A leading anesthesia practice is seeking Board Certified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join a large, established anesthesia care team serving two major hospitals in Ocala, Florida .

Anesthesia Practice

Join a large Anesthesia Care Team consisting of approximately:

• 20 Anesthesiologists

• 32 Advanced Practice Providers

• Coverage across two hospital campuses totaling approximately 585 beds

• Approximately 12,000 cases annually across both facilities

• Approximately 700 cardiac cases annually

The primary hospital is a Level I Trauma Center and the region's only Comprehensive Stroke Center , providing CRNAs exposure to a clinically diverse and high-acuity environment.

The practice is also a clinical training site for Barry University and USF SRNA rotations , creating opportunities for CRNAs interested in teaching and mentoring future anesthesia professionals.

Diverse Case Mix

Schedule & Work-Life Balance

Flexible Self-Scheduling

CRNAs participate in self-scheduling through QGenda , with scheduling flexibility not based solely on seniority.

Available shifts include:

• 8-hour shifts

• 10-hour shifts

• 12-hour shifts

• 16-hour OR shifts

• Select 24-hour trauma shifts

Full-time providers are salaried and generally scheduled for 80 hours biweekly .

Hours worked beyond 80 hours during the biweekly period are compensated at time-and-a-half .

No Traditional Call

There is no traditional overnight call requirement .

Scheduling requirements generally include:

• Approximately 1 weekend shift per month

• Approximately 4–5 evening shifts (3 PM–11 PM) per year

• No call after 11 PM

This structure provides substantial scheduling flexibility while allowing CRNAs to maintain a strong work-life balance.

Compensation

Compensation is structured based on experience and applicable clinical/facility assignments.

Base Salary

• 1–2 years: approximately $220,000

• 3–4 years: approximately $225,000

• 5–7 years: approximately $230,000

• 8–10 years: approximately $235,000

• 11+ years: approximately $240,000

Compensation may incorporate facility modifiers associated with assignments such as cardiac, trauma, and designated site coverage .

Additional Financial Incentives

• Start Date Bonus: Up to $45,000 with a 36-month commitment

• Annual Retention Bonus: $15,000 for eligible CRNAs with up to 10 years of experience; $20,000 for 10+ years

• Relocation Reimbursement: Up to $10,000 with a 24-month commitment

• Long-Term Bonus: $10,000 after 10 years with the organization

• CME/BERA: $3,000 annually

• Per Diem Rate: $150/hour

• Overtime: Time-and-a-half for eligible hours beyond 80 hours biweekly

An Earn While You Learn (EWYL) option may also be available for qualifying future CRNAs, offering up to $30,000 , with stipend payments of up to $2,500 per month subject to program terms and service commitments.

Exceptional Paid Time Off

This opportunity offers an especially generous PTO structure:

• Years 1–3: 320 hours of PTO annually

• Year 4+: 360 hours of PTO annually

That equates to approximately 8 weeks of PTO initially , increasing to approximately 9 weeks , based on a standard 40-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

• Must be Board Certified through the NBCRNA

• Active or eligible for Florida ARNP/APRN licensure

• ATLS required if assigned to the Trauma Team
