Job Description
The Immigration Attorney position in Phoenix, AZ, focuses on handling a diverse range of immigration cases including family-based petitions, employment-based visas, asylum and refugee cases, and deportation defense. This role involves managing a high caseload of over 100 cases in a large team environment, with occasional travel required within Arizona for client meetings or court appearances.
Responsibilities
- Handle family-based petition cases from initiation to resolution
- Manage and file employment-based visa applications
- Represent clients in asylum and refugee cases
- Provide defense for clients facing deportation proceedings
- Collaborate effectively within a large legal team
- Maintain organization of a caseload exceeding 100 cases
- Attend occasional court appearances and client meetings throughout Arizona
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree; AZ License (+)
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in immigration law; Spanish
