Join Our Team as a Speech Therapist

We are excited to invite you to become a part of our dynamic team as a Speech Therapist in a PRN capacity! This role requires experience working with pediatric clients.

Our organization is dedicated to providing exceptional home health services and is affiliated with a national network that focuses on housing and healthcare solutions.

Hourly Rate: $45.90 - $51.20, depending on your level of experience.

This is a PRN position that involves traveling to clients' residences.

• Deliver ongoing therapy to clients in accordance with physician directives.
• Communicate client progress effectively within the organization.
• Evaluate and treat clients, while collaborating with families, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

• A minimum of a master’s degree in Speech Pathology.
• Possession of a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or equivalent experience of at least one year working with adults and children with neurological disorders.
• Ability to work independently within the department.
• A valid Speech Pathology license in the applicable state or actively pursuing the necessary supervisory experience for licensure.
• Registration with the Department of Health or eligibility for registration.
• Membership in the Speech-Language-Hearing Association is preferred.
• Strong auditory and visual skills to process large volumes of information, including evaluations and therapy tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret professional evaluation materials to stay updated in the field and make clinical decisions.
• Strong problem-solving skills related to clients and self.
• Capacity to manage stress from challenging caseloads.
• Ability to follow complex instructions and organize schedules effectively.
• Basic math skills.
• Interest in geriatric rehabilitation.
• Proficiency in using personal computers, Servox devices, and augmentative communication tools.

• Assess and create tailored treatment plans to enhance communication efficiency for clients.
• Conduct evaluations and develop effective treatment plans as per physician requests, securing necessary approvals.
• Initiate prescribed treatments and keep physicians informed about client progress.
• Document evaluations, weekly progress notes, discharge summaries, and other required information in compliance with agency policies and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate records in line with state, federal, and third-party payer regulations.
• Collaborate with team members regarding client progress, challenges, and future plans.
• Engage in rehabilitation conferences and client care planning meetings regularly.
• Provide education to clients, families, and staff as needed.
• Participate in in-service training programs for agency staff upon request.
• Adhere to the Speech-Language Pathology Practice Act in the state.
• Perform additional duties or special assignments as directed by the Director of Clinical Services.

• Preferred Experience: At least one year working with adults and children with neurological disorders, including language comprehension, expression, cognition, articulation, voice, fluency, and swallowing.
• Required Education: Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
• Licenses & Certifications: Required to hold a Speech Therapist license.
