Civil Defense Litigation Attorney
South Carolina | Flexible Schedule
• Firm pays approximately 90% of employee health insurance premiums

• Collaborative and supportive team environment What You'll Do • Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Conduct legal research utilizing Westlaw and LexisNexis
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents
• Handle client communications and case strategy discussions
• Negotiate settlements when appropriate
• Appear in court for hearings, motions, depositions, and trials
• Work closely with attorneys and support staff to ensure exceptional client service What We're Looking For • Licensed attorney in South Carolina
• Experience handling civil litigation matters
• Strong legal writing and research skills
• Experience litigating in State and Federal Court
• Ability to independently manage a caseload
• Knowledge of South Carolina tort law
• Jury trial experience, or a strong desire to develop trial experience
• Strong communication and negotiation skills This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation attorney who wants sophisticated defense work, meaningful courtroom experience, strong compensation, and the flexibility to maintain a healthy balance outside the office.
