Temp Dental Hygienist

Dental AssistantWe are looking for a short-term commitment for May through mid-August to cover an employee on leave. This is a Monday-Thursday position, 7am-1pm. Great hours through the summer!Job Details:The ideal candidate would be passionate about their work and their patients.We are an amazing team and truly care about our patients and each other like family.We are fun work environment and host a lot of great teambuilding events for each other.Requirements:Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to remove plaque and tartar buildup.Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and reviewing dental records to ensure comprehensive care.Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort.Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays, ensuring proper technique and safety protocols are followed.Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote lifelong oral health.Maintain strict infection control standards through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization of instruments.We are a relaxed environment and a friendly office, we have an amazing team and are welcoming of your help!
