Schedule & Hours

• 10-hour day shifts, four days per week (0630-1700)
• Total of 40 hours per week
• Rotating weekend and on-call requirements (approximately 1 weekend per month)
• Flexibility to work/take call on holidays

Qualifications

• Active KS RN License and BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years' CVOR experience in a level 1 trauma center
• Recent, robust experience with both scrubbing cardiac surgeries and circulating in CVOR
• Willingness to work in a nicotine-free environment
• Ability to float between Bell OR, Cambridge OR, and SPD as needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert perioperative nursing care for high-complexity cardiac surgeries, including both scrub and circulating responsibilities
• Collaborate efficiently with surgical and anesthesia teams in a fast-paced, level 1 trauma center
• Prioritize patient safety and quality of care throughout perioperative phases
• Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling, including holiday and weekend rotation coverage
