Role Description The Sales Development Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Charlottesville, VA. This role is responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and online research, focusing on organizations that can benefit from managed IT and local computer support services. Day-to-day tasks include engaging prospective clients, understanding their technology needs and challenges, and scheduling meetings or demos for the account management and technical teams. The Sales Development Representative maintains accurate records in the CRM system, follows up on inbound inquiries, and collaborates with sales and marketing to refine messaging and outreach campaigns. The position involves working closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads and a positive experience for potential customers.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Inside Sales and Lead Generation skills, including experience with outbound prospecting and handling inbound inquiries.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills and Sales abilities to build rapport, ask discovery questions, and clearly present solutions.
• Candidates should possess Business Development skills to identify target markets, nurture relationships, and support long-term growth opportunities.
• Relevant experience with CRM tools, basic IT or technology familiarity, and comfort discussing managed services or technical support solutions is beneficial.
