SUSHI CHEF (FULL TIME)

Job Summary Prepares and presents sushi and related food products to customers. Responsibilities Offer a unique combination of restaurant, catering and special event experience to customers. Demonstrate high‑level knife skills and special skills associated with sushi prep, production and presentation. Store foods in designated areas following corporate, state and federal food safety and sanitation procedures. Ensure proper food handling, presentation, portion control and maintain appropriate serving temperatures. Maintain sanitation of all equipment, supplies and utensils within the work area; clean workstation thoroughly before leaving; keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service to assure compliance with sanitation, ServSafe, safety, OSHA, production and merchandising requirements. Interact with customers to enhance dining experience; demonstrate a complete understanding of daily menu items and be able to accurately explain them to customers and associates. Keep up with peak production and service hours. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Three years of previous experience in a sushi kitchen. Full‑time availability; schedule may vary, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Location: Samsung – 3655 North First Street, San Jose, CA 95134. Accepting online applications only.
