Registered Nurse - Neuro/General Surgery Unit

Location: South Carolina

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 3x12 Hour Night Shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), with 36 hours per week and a holiday rotation.

Job Description: The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care to patients on an 8W Neuro/General Surgery Unit, which includes a mix of neurosurgery and general surgery patients. Our nursing team is committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a challenging and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care in accordance with established standards and practices.
• Monitor patient conditions and implement care plans as directed.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Assist in pre and post-operative care for neurosurgery patients.
• Participate in clinical assessments and make recommendations based on patient needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required.
• Current South Carolina RN License or Multi-State/Compact State License.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred.
• Neurosurgery experience is a plus.
