Operating Room Nurse

Seeking a qualified Operating Room Nurse to provide expert patient care in a busy surgical environment. The role involves circulating and scrub responsibilities across various surgical specialties, ensuring patient safety and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and assist in surgical procedures, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Circulate during surgeries for orthopedics, ENT, gynecology, sports medicine, general, and neuro procedures.
• Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments and equipment, including Stryker systems and C-arm devices.
• Maintain sterile techniques and enforce infection control protocols.
• Document patient care activities accurately in paper-based EMRs.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, including charge nurses, surgeons, and technicians, to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid registered nurse license with current state licensure.
• Possess at least 2 years of operating room experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in circulating OR procedures, including orthopedic, ENT, gynecological, and neuro surgeries.
• Experienced with scrub duties and C-arm operation preferred.
• Able to circulate diverse procedures such as total joints, arthroscopy, colorectal, and more.
• Capable of working 4 days a week, with flexibility to float to other facilities as needed.
