Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist to join its multi-specialty group serving Jamestown and surrounding lakefront communities in Western New York. This role involves providing comprehensive gastrointestinal care within a network of primary care physicians, surgeons, and specialists. The position offers a balanced professional lifestyle, strong support infrastructure, and the opportunity to practice in a community-focused setting with access to a broad patient population.

Full-time position (FTE 1.0)

Responsibilities

Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions
Provide both inpatient and outpatient GI care as needed
Perform GI procedures appropriate to training and specialty
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and advanced practice providers
Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a community-based setting
Participate in maintaining clinical excellence and adherence to best practices
Support continuity of care across the GLPP network

Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology (implied standard requirement)
Ability to obtain a medical license (New York) if not already licensed
Strong clinical skills in general gastroenterology
Commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care
Ability to work effectively within a multi-specialty, team-based environment
J-1 and H-1B visa candidates accepted
Not accepting IMLC candidates
