Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into an engaging contract opportunity supporting students’ communication development in an elementary school setting. This position is perfect for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFY) passionate about making a meaningful impact in education. The role runs from August 11, 2026, through September 24, 2026, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. The specific caseload will be determined prior to start, ensuring an individualized match for your expertise and interests.
Qualifications:
- Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) status required
- School-based experience preferred, with a focus on elementary-aged students
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans within an educational framework
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments and therapy to students, supporting their academic and social success
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate documentation of services, progress, and student outcomes
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions tailored to each child’s needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions
