Associate Trader

Role Purpose Statement The Assistant Trader - Dry Bulk is responsible for assisting the traders in the commodity trading in the specific program and general commercial activities in the Latin America region. Main Accountabilities Daily revision/validation of trading position. Daily preparation of trading P&L and reconciling results versus accounting figures. Assisting trading group in the elaboration and update of S&D reports, open demand, marketing plan, etc. Ensure purchase & sales contracts input to the system is performed on time and accurately as per company policies. Provide commercial support to traders with customers needs as required. Assist with the maintenance and accuracy of the logistics position versus freight position. Others as needed. Excellent organization and planning capabilities Ability to lead across reporting lines/functions Understanding of commodity trading, MTM rules, commodity cash and futures settlements practices and industry terms and exchanges (CBOT). Understanding of ocean freight market. Fluency in English and Spanish Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting/Finance, Agricultural Economics or related field. 1-2 years of business experience Location: Miami, Florida, United States.
