PRN Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a flexible and motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our primary care team on a PRN (as-needed) basis. This role is ideal for clinicians seeking schedule flexibility while maintaining clinical engagement in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Opportunities are available in: Alpharetta, Atlanta, Braselton, Dallas, Decatur, Duluth, and Tyrone, GA.

PRN Schedule & Expectations:

• No minimum weekly commitment required
• Must complete: Three full days of training
• All credentialing requirements prior to scheduling shifts
• Provide availability in advance; shifts will be assigned based on organizational needs
• Open shifts will be communicated, and providers may elect to pick up shifts that fit their schedule
• Must pick up at least one shift per month (if offered) to maintain PRN status

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive primary care services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic conditions
• Conduct physical exams and preventive health screenings
• Develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with Georgia state regulations
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system

Requirements:

• Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Active and unrestricted Georgia NP or PA license
• Current DEA license (or ability to obtain)
• Minimum of 1–2 years of primary care experience preferred
• Strong new graduates with relevant clinical training may be considered
