Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 17:30 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Not specified Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Cath Lab experience, Structural Heart, IABP, Impella, IFR, FFR Description: Travel opportunity for a Cath Lab Tech. Shift hours are from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The facility has 7 holding beds. Patient ratios and unit staffing details will be provided. Type of equipment includes GE Innova and Impella. Documentation systems used are MacLab and Meditech. Scheduling is Monday through Friday, with Stemi Call approximately 10 to 12 days a month. Self-scheduling is available. Floating policy includes movement within departments for EP and Stress Lab. Patient experience requirements will align with hospital specifics. Required certifications include ACLS and BLS. Advanced skills needed for the role include PCI, PFO, Impella, and IABP. Procedures performed in the unit include TAVR, PFOA, atherectomy, PCI, R/LHC, Impella/IABP implants, DCCV, and TEE. Surgical scrubs will be provided. Unit policies and guidelines will be attached for reference. Awards and recognition include any outstanding department/team awards.
