Surgical Tech First Assist Certified - CSTFAPosition Description: Surgical Technologist First AssistantResponsible for assisting the surgeon during surgery and plays a vital role in the operating room during surgeries. Communicates the surgeon's preferences and specific patient needs to surgical team. Assists in positioning, prepping and draping of patients for surgical procedures. Provides retraction of tissues and organs for optimal visualization with regard to the surgical site.
