Job Description

Job hours: Hours are from 7:00pm to 7:00am Sunday – Tuesday/Wednesday. Overtime is mandatory due to working sequence of a 3 day week and the other a 4 day week. Also there’s a rotation of days at different times of the year, where working Sunday through Tuesday/Wednesday will change to Wednesday/Thursday through Saturday.

Job duties: The main duties of a production worker are,

1: To feed raw material.

2: To collect and package finish product after processing.

3: To do housekeeping. This includes cleaning of fugitive raw and finished product.

4: Maintenance. This includes greasing bearings, clearing dropouts, cleaning conveyors and equipment, etc.

NOTE: Duties can change when the need arises. We are currently looking for one production worker for 2nd shift. You would train on day shift, and would eventually work 7pm to 7am. Responsibilities would be learn production, fill in for vacations and help out in shipping and promotion to back up supervisor

Skills/Working condition: knowledge of forklifts, man lifts and loader use is preferred, but we are willing to train. Must be able to lift 50lbs, stand for long periods of time, work in changing weather conditions and expect to get dirty occasionally; the raw product is moist and the finish product is dry/dusty.

Steel toes and long sleeves required. A change of clothes would be recommended . Time is divided between running front loader and working ground, Forklift, bagging material and checking other areas.
