Dining Server - Senior Living

$16.92 an hour, guaranteed, with no tips to chase. This is year-round work that doesn't end after Labor Day, and every shift is done by 7:00 pm. Pick up per diem shifts serving residents at The Shores, an assisted living and memory care community in Ocean City, NJ.

Who you'll serve
Our residents look forward to mealtime. You'll get to know them by name: how they take their coffee, which table they like, and who needs a little extra help. Some residents live with memory loss and count on a familiar, patient face in the dining room.

What you'll do

• Greet residents and take meal orders
• Serve drinks, soups, salads, and desserts, and bring out plated meals
• Clear tables between courses and reset the dining room
• Follow food safety and cleaning standards
• Help with catering, community events, and our retail dining area when needed

What you'll need
Required

• Age 16 or older
• Able to speak with residents and read and write meal orders in English

Preferred

• Restaurant, dining, or customer service experience

Pay and benefits

• $16.92 per hour for every hour you work

Schedule
Per diem. Choose the shifts that work for you:

• 6:00 am to 2:00 pm 
• 11:00 am to 7:00 pm 
• 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm
