This role is critical to ensuring maximum equipment uptime, efficient repairs, and a safe, compliant production environment.If you thrive in a hands-on industrial setting, enjoy solving complex mechanical challenges, and are passionate about continuous improvement, we want to hear from you.As the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting daily manufacturing operations and long-term facility performance initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough baseline assessments of existing equipment, identify operational gaps, and develop prioritized improvement plansCreate, implement, and maintain preventive maintenance programs, including PM schedules and reporting systemsCoordinate maintenance and repair activities with production schedules to minimize downtime and operational disruptionsPerform hands-on troubleshooting and repair of production machinery and facility systemsManage spare parts inventory and equipment lifecycle recordsImplement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to improve reliability and efficiencySupport infrastructure upgrades, capital improvement projects, and cross-functional operational initiativesEnsure maintenance activities comply with company policies and all applicable local, state, and federal regulationsPromote and maintain a strong culture of workplace safety and continuous improvementQualificationsRequiredHigh School Diploma, Technical School certification, or Associate's Degree in a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of progressive maintenance experience within a manufacturing environmentDemonstrated experience working with heavy industrial or mechanical operationsWorking knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 General Industry standards and manufacturing safety practicesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Experience maintaining digital PM systems, parts inventories, and equipment recordsKnowledge of RCRA, DOT, OSHA regulations, industrial hygiene, and testing proceduresPreferredBachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university2+ years of Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement experienceOSHA 10-hour or OSHA 30-hour certificationExperience in elevator manufacturing, vertical transportation, or specialized electromechanical industriesBackground in environmental compliance, including hazardous waste management, Tier II reporting, and air permittingSkills & AbilitiesStrong knowledge of environmental, hazardous material, and workplace safety practicesExpertise in root cause analysis and corrective action implementationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAdvanced troubleshooting and technical problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to reduce downtime while maintaining operational complianceEffective time management and organizational skillsInitiative, accountability, and a hands-on leadership styleAbility to lead change, influence teams, and drive continuous improvement effortsWhy Join Us?We offer a competitive compensation package based on experience, along with:Medical, dental, and vision insurance 100% employer-paid for employees, 50% employer-paid for dependents401(k) retirement planDisability and life insuranceAFLAC and wellness programsEmployee discountsPaid vacation and holidaysJoin Delaware Elevator, Inc., where innovation and service excellence are our cornerstones.
