Cardiac Surgery Nurse Practitioner

Job Overview Specialty : Hackensack University Medical Center-AP-Physician-0107 State : NJ Location : 30 Prospect Ave, Hackensack, New Jersey 07601 Responsibilities & Requirements Position : Outpatient Cardiac Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (APP) for a 9‑month contract covering a leave of absence. Work primarily at the HUMC office, 30 Prospect Ave, One Link Cardiac Surgery Office. No inpatient duties. Pre‑operative and post‑operative cardiac surgery patients. Sessions include up to 10 patients per day (estimated). Procedures include minor post‑operative tasks such as wound debridement and packing placement. Collaborate with 5 physicians in house, 5 outpatient APN’s and the Clinical APN manager. Co‑operate with inpatient APN’s/PA’s and office support staff. Maintain up‑to‑date CDA and DEA registration. Must hold a current New Jersey license. Schedule & Dates Needed Schedule : Monday‑Friday, 4‑10 hour shifts, alternating one day off per week. Dates Needed : July 6 2026 – March 31 2027 Compensation & Benefits Weekly direct deposits. Travel and lodging provided if needed.
