Security EngineerOur partner is looking for a Security Engineer to join a project. Responsibilities include:Monitor systems for abnormal activityAnalyze alerts, distinguish threats from false positives, categorize incidents by riskLead incident response: containment, eradication, recovery, post-incident analysis, documenting stepsOptimize detection capabilities: refine alert thresholds, tune SIEM rules, integrate new data sources, reduce false positivesCompile weekly/monthly reports on incident trends, threat activity, and security posture for internal stakeholdersActively participate in team meetings, threat intel reviews, and cross-departmental syncsRequirements include:US CitizenshipMBI Clearance5+ years security engineering for a FedRAMP or FISMA Moderate system in an AWS GovCloud environmentHands-on UiPath architecture experience: Orchestrator, attended/unattended robots, Assets and Credential Stores, queues, and robot host buildsDesign and implementation of service account models, credential vaulting, RBAC, separation of duties, and session/audit loggingApplied NIST SP 800-53 Rev 5 Moderate controls in build decisions across the AC, AU, CM, IA, and SC familiesSTIG/CIS hardening, vulnerability scanning, patch and configuration managementSecure SDLC and code review of automation workflows and scriptsAbility to translate engineering decisions into control language for the A&A teamSkills in Microsoft Excel and WordExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbout Us: For more than 20 years, NewGen Technologies has solved our clients' toughest IT challenges with integrity, security, and outstanding service by delivering both technology and talent.
