Physician: Cardiac Surgeon - Winfield, IL

Description

Provide the full breadth of cardiac surgery. Participate in a comprehensive and wide variety of cardiac surgeries, including transcatheter valve procedures, and outpatient clinic. Share service calls, rounding and caring for pre‑op and post‑op patients in concert with the clinical team. Respond to local consultation requests and referrals. Play a vital role in the growth and development of cardiac programming in the BCVI West Region.

Qualifications

This positions requires a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), or a related field, or foreign equivalent (ECFMG Certification). It also requires a completed an ACGME-accredited cardiothoracic surgery fellowship program or eligible for board certification. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, and experience.
