Other duties may be assigned as necessary. Assists in the construction of basic lab apparatus or test equipment under the guidance of a Lead Technician or Supervisor. Performs laboratory tests and measurements of components, selecting and properly connecting test instrumentation systems to obtain specified test data with supervision as required. Performs tests according to established procedures with supervision as required. Assists in preparation, setup, and performance of tests. Ensures that laboratory areas and evaluation areas are kept clean and free of all safety hazards. Conducts all tests in a professional and safe manner. Performs other support services as directed by supervisor.Qualifications: Advanced technical skills. Should show eagerness to learn Able to grasp fundamental testing principles Strong "hands on" skills Work well in a Team Environment Self-starter Demonstrate willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done. Computer background preferred. Good verbal and written communication skills. Education and Experience: A High School Diploma is required. An Associate's Degree from a trade school or community college program focusing on a technical field is preferred.
