About the Job:

- Greets and interacts with members and guests in a professional, positive manner.
- Supports branch and OHecu goals for growth and member service.
- Assists in educating and enhancing the financial well-being of the members.
- Receives checks and cash for deposit, verifies amounts and examines checks for endorsements.
- Cashes checks and pays out money after verification of signatures, authenticity and member balances.
- Enters customer transactions into computer to record transactions and issues computer generated receipts.
- Places holds on deposits according to established procedures. Follows government regulations and security guidelines.
- Balances currency, coin and checks in cash drawer/CDM at end of shift and compares totaled amounts with data displayed on computer screen. Immediately reports any discrepancies to the Assistant Branch Manager.
- Explains, promotes or sells products or services such as travelers checks, savings bonds, money orders, and cashier's checks. Refers members to the Member Service Representatives for additional information on OHecu products and services.
Education and/or Experience:
- REQUIRED: Minimum of three years experience in cash handling and/or customer service preferably within a financial services (bank, credit union, savings and loan) environment.
- The hours are Monday through Thursday 8:15am to 4:45pm and Fridays 8:15am to 6:15pm. Comprehensive benefit package including PTO and paid holidays.
Job Type: Full-time.
Pay: From $16.00 per hour.
Expected hours: 38 – 40 per week.

Experience:
- Cash handling: 3 years (Required).
- Financial services (bank, credit union, check cashing, etc.): 2 years (Preferred).
