About the Position

Job Title: CST/ORT Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: OR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30-17:00 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: CST required Certifications: On Call required Description: CONTRACT - CVCST - OR/SURGERY Cardiovascular experience is required. Candidates must be flexible with their schedule. They should be willing to help others and work as part of a team. Mature and punctual individuals are preferred. Good attendance is essential for this role. The unit performs various cardiovascular procedures. Typical procedures include CABG, Aortic/Mitral Valve Repair/Replacement, AAA Endovascular & Open, AV Fistula creation/revision/thrombectomy, HDC, CAPD, BBT, TAVR, TMVR, and MitraClip. The facility utilizes surgical instruments, bovie cautery, an EVH video tower, a laparoscopic video tower, a surgical tourniquet, an IABP console, an Impella console, a cryo system, and a patient warming/cooling system. Permanent positions are available for CVOR CST, although there are currently no open positions for CVOR RNs. Candidates without CVOR CST experience will not be considered for this role. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in this specialty. The dress code consists of provided scrubs. No additional attire requirements are specified.
