AAA Life’s Strategy team functions as an internal consulting group and serves as a partner and advisor to the Executive team. The team’s mandate is to develop business strategy, lead mission critical, cross-functional efforts, deliver objective analysis and insights, and execute on strategic initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement the company's overall corporate strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.Conduct thorough market and customer research and analysis to support development of company’s near and long-term growth strategy.Lead collaboration with cross-functional teams to formulate strategic initiatives, business plans, and performance metrics to achieve AAA’s Life Strategy.Develop and deliver comprehensive reports, presentations, and communications to senior management, AAA Life board and AAA Club executive stakeholders to effectively communicate strategic plans, progress, and outcomes.Lead strategic projects and initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and product/service expansions, from ideation to execution.Assess and evaluate the company's internal capabilities and resources to identify areas for improvement and recommend strategic solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to anticipate potential impacts on the company's strategy and recommend adjustments as needed.QualificationsBasic Qualifications3+ years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, business transformation, strategic planning, or a related field, with a track record of delivering business impact.Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and partnering with stakeholders to advance strategic priorities.Analytical capabilities, including experience using data, market insights, and financial analysis to inform decision-making.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including financial modeling, business analysis, and executive-level presentations.Preferred QualificationsExperience with a leading management consulting firm, including 3+ years of strategy consulting experience.MBA, master's degree, or equivalent advanced business, analytical, or strategy-related experience.Experience in insurance, financial services, fintech, or another regulated industry.Experience in strategy, operations, marketing, product, distribution, finance, corporate development, or a related function.Experience conducting market assessments, competitive analysis, and customer or industry research.Experience presenting recommendations to executive leadership and influencing strategic decisions.Experience mentoring team members and contributing to an inclusive, collaborative team environment.Job SummaryCategory: MarketingPosition Type: Regular Full-TimeRemote: YesLocation: US-MI-Livonia
