Job Overview BD, a leading global medical technology company, is seeking a Health Technology Commercial Leader to drive growth through innovative strategy, ecosystem development, and market shaping in emerging care models. Responsibilities New Growth Creation & Commercial Strategy Drive development of end‑to‑end commercial strategy, including insight‑driven segmentation, value proposition design, channel strategy, and ecosystem orchestration. Own commercial inputs to the business case—market sizing, revenue projections, and growth opportunities. Design and execute rapid experimentation cycles (MVPs, pilots, A/B testing) to validate commercial models. Partnerships & Ecosystem Building Identify, evaluate, and manage strategic partnerships critical to new business models. Co‑create solutions with digital platforms, service providers, and channel players. Orchestrate ecosystem stakeholders to deliver integrated, patient‑centric experiences. Cross‑Functional Leadership & Execution Lead across a matrixed team, partnering with R&D, Business Development, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Operations. Translate strategy into clear execution plans, balance speed with rigor, and drive stakeholder alignment. Evidence Generation & Market Shaping Identify key evidence needs to support clinical, operational, and economic value propositions. Partner with Medical Affairs and HEOR to support data generation and market development, engaging external stakeholders and thought leaders. Qualifications Education: BS/BA in business, science, marketing, or health care required; MBA strongly desired. Experience: 7–10+ years in commercial strategy, global marketing, or business development within healthcare, life sciences, MedTech, or adjacent industries. Proven experience launching and scaling new products, services, or platforms, ideally in patient‑centric, consumer‑initiated, or DTC models. Experience in non‑traditional channels such as digital health, at‑home testing, consumer health, or service‑based delivery models. Track record leading early‑stage or ambiguous initiatives, building commercial strategy, and driving execution from concept to launch. Experience engaging with or building external partnerships and ecosystems to enable new business models. Strong strategic and commercial acumen, communication and storytelling skills, deep customer orientation, competence with digital acquisition and retention strategies, behavioral insights, qualitative research, and real‑world data. Proficiency in partnership development, ecosystem strategy, pricing strategy, growth modeling, and stakeholder alignment.
