Shipping & Receiving Clerk SURESTAFF is immediately hiring a Shipping & Receiving Clerk for a client in Carol Stream, IL. The Shipping & Receiving Clerk will manage the flow of products/parts in and out of the manufacturer to ensure shipments are processed efficiently and safely. The primary responsibility will be to coordinate and execute the shipping and receiving of products, as well as tracking inventory.$21-23/hr.Available shift: 8:00am-4:30pm Monday-FridayResponsibilities of the Shipping & Receiving Clerk Receiving, inspecting, and organizing incoming shipmentsVerifying contents against purchase orders and packing slipsChecking shipments for damage or discrepanciesPrepare outgoing shipments by packing, labeling, and arranging transportationAssist in maintaining accurate inventory recordsCoordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to resolves issues and maintain smooth operationAssist with cycle counts and year-end physical inventoryRequired Qualifications of the Shipping & Receiving Clerk High School Diploma, Associates Degree, or equivalent experienceExperience with sit-down forklift and overhead crane is desiredAbility to effectively communicate with delivery personnel and teammatesAbility to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectivelyPositive and professional demeanor, strong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to lift moderately heavy packages and materialsComputer skills, ideally Microsoft plus ERP usageExperience with or motivation to learn manufacturing softwareProficiency in inventory managementKnowledge of manufacturing industry environmentAbout Surestaff At Surestaff, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
