Maintenance Technician

Description Responsibilities Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of HVAC systems, ensuring they are functioning efficiently and meeting safety standards. This includes janitorial/cleaning tasks. Address plumbing problems, such as leaks, clogs, and fixture repairs, to maintain proper water supply and drainage. Troubleshoot and conduct general repairs and maintenance tasks to keep the facilities in optimal condition, including carpentry, painting, and basic construction work. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from multiple locations, prioritizing urgent matters to minimize disruptions to business operations. Collaborate with management and staff to understand specific maintenance needs and ensure their timely resolution. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs performed, equipment serviced, and inventory of supplies. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines during all maintenance tasks. Participate in scheduled inspections and contribute to the development of maintenance schedules and plans. Light moving of objects from location to location. Proficiency in basic HVAC, light electrical, plumbing, and general repair work. Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to maintenance tasks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and management. Self‑motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Availability to work flexible hours and respond to maintenance emergencies when necessary. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects when required. High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training are a plus.
