Legal Assistant
Location: Richmond, VA
Schedule: Full-Time
Pay: 58k-62k
Key Responsibilities
- Support attorneys throughout all phases of the pre-litigation process.
- Manage case files and maintain accurate documentation.
- Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and other parties.
- Request, organize, and review medical records and supporting documents.
- Prepare correspondence, legal documents, and settlement packages.
- Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding items.
- Provide exceptional client service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Previous experience as a Legal Assistant, Litigation Assistant, or Pre-Litigation Legal Assistant preferred.
- Experience in personal injury law is highly desired.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
