Revolution is now hiring for an Industrial Electrician position in Mesquite, TX. This role will be responsible for keeping all equipment operating through preventive and as-needed maintenance and documenting all repairs. The successful candidate will be a motivated individual who has strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring all safety and precautionary measures are met by adhering to company policy and state and federal regulations.
• Installing, inspecting, testing, operating, and repairing of all electrical switchgear systems, branch circuits, power distribution wiring, electrical equipment, fixtures, and conduit.
• Troubleshooting lighting control systems and related components.
• Troubleshooting and repairing electrical devices, motor starters, relays, contractors, etc.
• Using a variety of electrical testing equipment to troubleshoot, test, and trace circuitry.
• Advising the supervisor on job progress and material/labor requirements.
• Working with departments to plan and complete tasking.
• Reading, designing drawings, and wiring diagrams.
• Completing preventative maintenance as scheduled and keeping records.
• Responding to any emergency repair/maintenance as scheduled and keeping records.
• Maintaining critical inventory needed to keep operations running.
• Maintaining accounts for tools used.
• All other duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications include:

• Associate's degree in industrial Electronics or similar field (preferred).
• Minimum two years of electrical experience in an industrial environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to read and understand instructions in English.
• Ability to perform work without supervision.
• Necessary math skills - addition, subtraction, and multiplication to record accurate reports.
• Essential reading and writing skills.
• Experience with automated manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Climbing stairs and working from secured platforms.
• Must be able to follow safety procedures and precautions.
• Requires occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
• Bilingual preferred but not required (English/Spanish).
