This role focuses on water heater replacements, water filtration and treatment systems (including reverse osmosis and softeners), and general plumbing upgrades.The ideal candidate is a dependable professional who can independently manage service calls while delivering high-quality workmanship and an excellent customer experience. This position may also assist with HVAC-related tasks as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and repair residential plumbing systems, including water heaters and water filtration systemsDiagnose plumbing issues and implement efficient, effective solutionsEnsure all work meets or exceeds local code requirements and industry standardsStay current on industry regulations, tools, and emerging technologiesCommunicate clearly with homeowners regarding repairs, recommendations, and preventative maintenancePerform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to maximize system performance and lifespanMaintain clean, safe, and organized work areas in compliance with company and regulatory standardsAssist with HVAC system maintenance and repair as neededQualifications5+ years of residential plumbing experience preferredStrong customer service and communication skillsExperience educating customers on system care and preventative maintenanceFamiliarity with software such as Microsoft Office, ServiceTitan, Salesforce, or similar systemsWillingness to pursue continued education or certifications (e.g., State Plumbing License, Journeyman Certification, EPA Certification, Water Treatment Certification)OSHA and CPR certifications preferredKnowledge & SkillsSolid understanding of plumbing codes, safety regulations, and best practicesProficiency with plumbing tools and diagnostic equipmentWorking knowledge of HVAC systems and ability to assist as neededStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in confined or physically demanding environmentsTechnical ExpertiseExperience with pipe fitting, cutting, threading, and welding using manual and power toolsFamiliarity with modern plumbing technologies (tankless water heaters, smart water systems, eco-friendly fixtures)Skilled in using tools such as pipe wrenches, cutters, and video inspection equipmentKnowledge of safe waste disposal and sanitation practicesAbility to identify additional service opportunities that align with customer needsWhat Sets You ApartCustomer-focused with the ability to explain solutions and build trustStrong time management and ability to handle multiple service callsProfessional, reliable, and detail-orientedComfortable recommending upgrades or additional services when appropriateWork EnvironmentField-based role at residential job sitesPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand, kneel, bend, and climb for extended periodsComfortable working in confined spaces and at heightsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsMust be able to distinguish color-coded systems and componentsPAY TRANSPARENCY:The starting salary for this opportunity range is listed.
