Encoder Machine Operator
Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, OT as needed.
Pay Rate: $16/hour
Location: Lithia Springs, GA 30122
Experience: 2+ years - These are older machines, nothing is automated. The only thing electronic on the machines is the on/off switch. Everything has to be set and adjusted manually by hand/tools.
- Responsible for setting up to 4 individual numbering heads on 2 separate machines in order to produce numbered checks and forms.
- Perform adjustments to encoder as needed.
- Change out impact pads as they become worn on each of the numbering hammers.
- Change MICR and Arabic ribbons out as necessary to meet order specifications.
- Grease all of the fittings on the machine once a month.
- Oil the hammer for each numbering tower on a daily basis.
Encoder Machine Operator Skills:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to complete basic math.
- Must uphold a safe working environment.
- Mechanical inclination.
- Communication and organizational skills.
Encoder Machine Operator Requirements:
- Must be able to multitask in a fast paced environment.
- Manual dexterity and efficiency.
- Must be good with details and mechanically inclined.
- Able to provide 2 professional references.
- Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen.
